Located in the vibrant Vršovice neighbourhood of Prague, artyčok store is surrounded by a lively mix of local bars, cafés, parks, small galleries, and unique shops. The creative energy of the area inspired the founders to contribute something special to the community.
Describing themselves as a (no)concept store, Artyčok doesn’t adhere to a specific theme but instead curates a collection of items they both find intriguing and appealing, whether for their design, aesthetics, or content.

The store primarily focuses on independent brands that aren’t available elsewhere in Prague, offering something fresh and different. They are also committed to supporting local brands and artists, particularly individual creators from Vršovice, such as graphic designers and visual artists. This neighborhood connection is essential to them, and they strive to maintain a strong sense of local character.
The founders of artyčok wanted to address the often-challenging task of finding the perfect gift, which they themselves had struggled with in the past. From the outset, they were drawn to Japanese brands for their exceptional blend of design, craftsmanship, and aesthetic appeal.

KINTO was one of the first brands they selected for their glassware collection. Customers appreciate the opportunity to find a well-known brand, but with a curated selection that stands out from what other stores and cafés offer.
Their initial picks from CAST AMBER and SEPIA collections, with their warm tones and vintage charm, quickly became customer favorites. Alongside these, a few other items were added to the collection, and some, including the TRAIL TUMBLER (a personal favorite of one of the founders), have become so beloved that they now use them at home.
